Our hybrid primary care model, in which families can use our Nurse Practitioner, Sarah Starkweather, exclusively or in common with other primary care providers, adds to our array of Medicare-covered services available on site. Sarah introduces herself in a short video on this website.
Getting out to primary care visits was already getting complicated for many of our guests and the virus made it almost impossible.
We collect voluminous medical histories on new residents before they arrive (at no charge to families). Often, we have to reconcile inconsistencies and contradictions in complicated histories to get an accurate, current appreciation of new residents. It’s worth it!
Then, the nursing teams can plan for primary care and continued specialty care like cardiology, endocrinology, oncology etc. for which residents will still travel to offices or clinics, as well as using our extensive telemedicine resources.
